Highlighters are becoming popular to make-up addicts. Highlighters is a lightweight form of foundation, it can be either a powder, liquid, or softstick highlighter. Highlighters are to be applied under the eye (over the cheekbone), on the cupids bow which is on the lip, and near the eyebrow area, chin, forehead, etc. Highlighters are used to emphasive or create shine/glitter to your face to make eyes or cheeks glow. There are many stores that sell highlighters or an illuminator. Expensive ones would be Sephora, MAC, Chanel,Smashbox, Anastasia Beverly Hills, NARS, etc. Then there is the cheap and good drugstore ones such as L'oreal Paris, Covergirl, Nyx, Rimmel, Maybelline, etc. Highlighters are a favorite to me.
There are many different types of makeup such as foundation, concealer, highlighter, bronzer, setting powder, eyeliner, eyebrow gel or pencil, lipstick, lipgloss, mascara, primer, etc. Primer is to be used to moisturize the face before applying foundation. Foundation is a light or heavy weight coverage to be used to cover any blemish or such on the facce. You can pick any foundation color that is within your skin tone. Concealer is just like foundation but in a tinier tube or stick form to cover smaller or bigger bumps or etc. on your face, under eyes for dark eyebags, and to match the skin color around the face. Setting powder/finishing powder is used to hide any pores or such on. Bronzer is used on the cheekbones, nose, jawline, and forehead area to give it a bold and bronze look. Bronzer also makes parts of your face to stand out. Highlighter is used under the eye or wherever you want to make it shine and glitter. Eyebrowgel and pencils are used to outline the eyebrow and make it your own shape and color. Lipstick and lipgloss are used to make color to your lip. Mascara isused to make eyelashes longer and thicker. That is all makeup.
